How to develop a budget for a project

It can feel quite daunting when thinking about putting a budget together for a project. Just where do you start?

Although projects can differ dramatically, there are some common strategies when it comes to writing budgets such as planning for the worst, identifying where changes are likely to originate and don’t forget the contingency plan—and a contingency budget—in case things go a bit haywire.
